AIIB signed MOUs with BNDES the renewable energy financiers

Investment Bank, the Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) and AIIB have inked an MOU to strengthen their collaboration on funding sustainable development and fostering regional cooperation.

The memorandum of understanding formalized by Natalia Dias, managing director of BNDES, and Konstantin Limitovskiy, vice president of investment operations (region 2) at AIIB. This agreement opens the door for improved cooperation in funding initiatives that support regional connectivity and sustainable development goals.

Per the MOU, the AIIB and BNDES will investigate potential cooperative finance and investment opportunities in infrastructure, commerce, and connectivity projects throughout Asia. Additionally, they will concentrate on topics that interest them both, like climate resilience.

The collaboration includes the ideation of projects, resource mobilization, and knowledge sharing, especially in relation to approaches to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

The multilateral development bank AIIB committed to funding Infrastructure for Tomorrow and places a high value on sustainability in all of its activities.
